Need something to do on St. Patrick's Day?  Well, it is time for monthly Village Council meeting.  Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 6:30PM in the Venture Room.

A wildfire threat is possible in your neighborhood. Follow official emergency instructions, stay alert, and be prepared to evacuate if necessary. Here are some precautions to stay safe during this event:

Be familiar with READY, SET, GO!:

READY Status:

  • Stay tuned to official sources for updates emergency instructions and follow them carefully to stay safe.  
  • Stay informed by monitoring local news and official sources for weather updates.
  • Prepare an emergency kit with essential items like water, non-perishable food, first aid supplies, and important documents.
  • Create a defensible space around your home by removing any flammable materials within 30 feet of your home.
  • Check on your neighbors, especially those who may be vulnerable or without transportation.
  • If you are instructed to evacuate, do so immediately and follow official evacuation routes.

SET Status – Potential threat to life and/or property.  Those who require additional time to evacuate or with pets and livestock should leave now.

GO! Status – Evacuation order issued by emergency services. An evacuation order means there's an immediate threat to your life and you need to leave right now! It's critical to follow all directions from emergency services to ensure you and your family evacuate safely.
